Kaskar Race
The excitement is building as the Municipal Sportsweek kicks off on 30 August 2025 with a thrilling, first-ever Marsh Street Kaskar Race, organized by the four Greater Mossel Bay Policing Forums — Great Brak, Da Gamaskop, Kwanonqaba, and Mossel Bay!
This isn’t just any race—it’s a chance to compete for a good cause! Most of the proceeds will go toward sporting equipment and field upgrades for six local schools, helping young athletes shine.
How to Get Involved:
Race Entry: Teams of 6 participants (ages 12–100) can enter—grab your friends, family, or coworkers and get ready to roll!
Business Challenge: Local companies & entrepreneurs—this is your chance to customize your kaskar, show off your brand, and challenge rival businesses to a friendly showdown! Who will take home bragging rights?
Sponsor a Child: Can’t form a team? Sponsor a child to participate or add them to your squad.
Market Stalls: Want to showcase your business or sell your products/food? Harry Giddy Park market stalls are up for grabs—apply now!
- Advertising: Limited marketing boards along the race track are available—secure yours before they’re gone!
