The Western Cape Butterfly Sanctuary is a unique conservation effort between Ruiterbosch Fun Farm and CBISA. Experience a unique butterfly encounter at the only butterfly sanctuary in the Western Cape and only the second of its kind in South Africa!.
We are open from Tuesday to Sunday.
Guided tours are available on the hour from 10h30 to 14h30.
Kindly ensure you have read the rules and regulations before entering our Sanctuary. South Africa’s largest butterfly, the striking Emperor Swallowtail will soon be one of the beautiful residents at our Sanctuary.
