More than simply a place to stay, Villa Palmera is part of a Travel with Purpose movement. Every stay helps give something back to the community through iOcean Trust NPC, a marine conservation organisation working with young people through its “From Learning to Leading” education and youth skills development programme.
We believe travel can be a force for good — connecting people with the places they visit while creating opportunities for the communities who call them home.
With 30 years of experience in conservation, tourism and community engagement, host Andrea brings a love of Africa, nature and storytelling to Villa Palmera. Her journey from Wales to Africa has shaped a home where guests are encouraged not only to explore Mossel Bay, but to understand and appreciate the remarkable natural and cultural heritage on their doorstep.
