Andrea, a passionate Welsh qualified cultural guide, brings 30 years of experience in conservation, tourism and community engagement. A strong advocate for “Team Tourism”, she believes that collaboration across the tourism sector can create greater opportunities and contribute to a more sustainable and inclusive destination.
Andrea serves on the Board of Directors of Mossel Bay Tourism and is the owner of the family-run Villa Palmera Guesthouse in Mossel Bay. Her extensive experience in the tourism sector, together with her connection to the local community, gives her valuable insight into the opportunities and challenges facing the destination.
She is also a co-founder of iOceans Investment Trust, which focuses on youth skills development and employability. Through Blue Ventures Global, Andrea is passionate about developing community-led projects that empower local people, create sustainable opportunities and contribute positively to the future of the destination.
