Mossel Bay Sport and Recreation Festival 2026

The annual Mossel Bay Sports and Recreation Festival will once again bring energy and activity to the region, taking place from 𝟐𝟗 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝟏𝟖 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔. Local sports clubs, organisations, and recreational groups are now invited to play an active role in shaping this year’s programme.

Coordinated by the Mossel Bay Municipality, the festival aims to promote healthy lifestyles, encourage participation in sport and recreation, and showcase the town as a vibrant destination for both residents and visitors. A key feature of the festival is the involvement of local clubs and organisations, each of which hosts its own events as part of the broader programme.

Through this collaborative approach, the festival not only highlights local talent and initiatives, but also contributes to community building and supports the growth of tourism in the region.

Clubs and organisations interested in participating or learning more about the planning process are encouraged to attend the meeting or contact the Office of the Director: Community Services at 044 606 5007.
