SUMMARY:Mart Marais Staan Op!
DESCRIPTION:What if you’re not even allowed to rest after you die? \nWhen Mart Marais’ frugal sister decides to save money by hiring a budget funeral director\, AVKOP\, everything goes spectacularly wrong. \nAt the Pearly Gates\, Mart arrives sporting an outrageous 1980s perm so dreadful that even the angels felt uncomfortable. \nSaint Peter doesn’t recognize her and politely suggests that she wait until the perm has fallen flat before knocking again. \nWhat follows is a hilarious afterlife nightmare. \nBetween recorder tributes\, funeral sandwiches\, and a sequined burial dress\, Mart soon realizes that not even death can free you from family. \nMart Marais Rises Again\, is the latest dark comedy by acclaimed playwright Ilne Fourie. \n  \nPre-bookings: R150 per person \nTickets at the door: R180 per person \nBring your own wine and picnic basket. \n  \n
