Monroe Theater presents:
Charles Bonnet (Hugh Griffith) is a charming Parisian gentleman who lives a lavish lifestyle.
He funds this by secretively recreating and selling highly accurate, forged masterpieces of famous artists.
His daughter, Nicole Bonnet Audrey Hepburn, deeply disapproves of his criminal habits and constantly worries he will be caught.
The real trouble begins when the vanity-driven Charles decides to loan his prized possession, the complete ‘Cellini Venus” statuette, to the prestigious Kléber-Lafayette Museum for a high-profile exhibition.
The catch? The statue is a fake, originally sculpted by Charles’s own father.
