The NG Church in Danabay will be hosting a French dinner this August 2026.
The tables will each be named after French surnames of the Huguenot families who settled in South Africa, such as
Le Roux, La Grange, Terblanche, Du Preez, and others.
There will be 30 tables, each seating 8 guests.
During the evening, each table will have approximately one minute to read a short passage about the family’s origins and the region in France from which they came.
The event will also feature a performance by Sotto Voce Choir from Hartenbos, a French opera singer, and traditional French dancing, creating an authentic French cultural experience.
