With or Without You: The Songs of U2

The festival kicks off with ‘With or Without You: The Songs of U2’ at the historic Mossel Bay Town Hall, followed by two days of wine-tasting experiences at participating venues.

The music of U2 has shaped soundtracks for generations. “They crawl under your skin,” says Songs of U2 frontman Christoff Beukes. “U2 has inspired many an aspiring muso to take up an instrument or start a band.”

The Songs of U2 is not a tribute act – no one can sing like Bono or play like The Edge. But as the opening to Wine & Whatever ’26, guests are invited to share in the lyrics and melodies that dared us to dream. Concert guests will bring their own picnic baskets and enjoy the band’s renditions in a relaxed, barnyard-style atmosphere. The evening sets the tone for the weekend’s wine experiences.
